Chapter 38: Walking In My Purpose

 In 2017 on my 38th birthday I was diagnosed with stage 3 blood cancer (Multiple Myeloma) and given a short amount of time to live, and that day life changed in so many ways. 

Cancer changes you as a person — from the way you think to the way you approach your future.


You realize what’s really important in life.  You stop sweating small stuff, you slow down when sharing special moments in life with family and friends. 

My journey made me a better person. It taught me a different type of strength. I fought one of the deadliest diseases known to mankind & I won! From that day on I made a promise to walk in my purpose and allow others to see my scares so they will know they can also heal.
